How do Surveys Work
Posted by Nichola Eyre on 10 August 2017 02:07 PM

The way our surveys work are as follows;

The initial message - This is to let people know that they are about to receive a survey from you and is usually sent from the company name so replies can't be received.

Then the questions are sent out - these need to be sent with a txtus number as the sender ID so that responses can be received - you'll need to purchase a number to be able to use surveys on our system, the responses will then be shown within the survey section of your account when you'll be able to download the responses.

The Closing message - This is usually used to thank people for taking part in the survey.

After each question the next question in the survey will not be sent to the handset until a response to the previous question has been received.

When you're composing the message make sure you're typing it from scratch otherwise there will be unsupported characters within the message that the networks don't support so the message won't send., also when you're testing to see how the survey is working you'll need to make sure you've completed any previous surveys on the number you're testing with otherwise the system won't sent the survey to the handset as it'll be waiting for a response from previous unanswered questions.

Do let me know if you need anything else.
